T100 Time Clock — Daylight Saving Time Instructions
Setting Daylight Saving Time Start and End Dates
After the start of the new year, you must set the starting and ending dates for Daylight Saving Time if you want the clock to automatically adjust on the correct dates. To set the starting and ending dates for DST:
- Set the Program/Normal switch on the back to the PROGRAM position. The buttons [AM IN], [AM OUT], [PM IN], [PM OUT], [OT IN] and [OT OUT] will now function to program the clock.
- Press [AM IN] six times to set the DST start date. The display reads 51 X-X with 51 indicating the start of DST and X-X indicating Month-Day.
- Press [PM OUT] to advance the month DST begins until the month displays 3 (March).
- Press [OT IN] to advance the day DST begins until the date displayed is that of the second Sunday in March for the current year.
- Press [OT OUT] to save.
- Press [AM IN] once to set DST end date. The display reads 52 X-X with 52 indicating the end of DST and X-X indicating Month-Day.
- Press [PM OUT] to advance the month DST ends until the month displays 11 (November).
- Press [OT IN] to advance the day DST ends until the date displayed is that of the first Sunday in November for the current year.
- Press [OT OUT] to save.
- When finished programming the T100, slide the Program/Normal switch to the NORMAL position.
Important: The clock will not function unless you exit Programming Mode by sliding the Program/Normal switch to NORMAL.
Manually Setting The Time
The starting and ending dates for Daylight Saving Time must be set each year. If you previously set the starting and ending dates for Daylight Saving Time for the current year, the clock should automatically adjust on the dates you set. Otherwise, you will have to set the time manually.
To set the time:
- Set the Program/Normal switch on the back to the PROGRAM position. The buttons [AM IN], [AM OUT], [PM IN], [PM OUT], [OT IN] and [OT OUT] will now function to program the clock.
- Press [AM IN] once to set the time.
- Press [PM OUT] to advance the hours (note that the time is displayed in 24-hour format; 0-23 with 0 = midnight).
- Press [OT IN] to advance the minutes.
- Press [OT OUT] to save.
- When finished programming the T100, slide the Program/Normal switch to the NORMAL position.
Important: The clock will not function unless you exit Programming Mode by sliding the Program/Normal switch to NORMAL.
