General Information
To program the machine, remove the case to access the five push button switches, SW5 to SW1, located below the LCD display. Note that pressing and holding these switches will cause the setting options to advance faster.
Setting the DST Start Date
When Daylight Saving Time is set, the clock will automatically advance one hour on the designated starting date and subtract one hour on the ending date. The time change will occur at 2:00 a.m.
Press the [SW5:SET] until the Start Daylight Saving arrow flashes. | |
Press the [SW4:YEAR] key until the current year is displayed. | |
Press the [SW3:HOUR/MONTH] key until the desired start month is displayed. If you are setting the U.S. standard Daylight Saving Time, this should be the month of March. Note: if you do not use the Daylight Saving Time function, set the month value to 00. | |
Press the [SW2:MINUTE/DAY] key until the desired start day is displayed. If you are setting the U.S. standard Daylight Saving Time, this should be the second Sunday of March in the year you are setting. | |
Verify that the desired start year, month, and day are displayed on the LCD. Then press the [SW1:SET] key. | |
Press the [SW1:SET] key again. The current time and date is displayed. |
Setting the DST End Date
Press the [SW5:SET] key until the End Daylight Saving arrow flashes. | |
Press the [SW4:YEAR] key until the current year is displayed. | |
Press the [SW3:HOUR/MONTH] key until the desired end month is displayed. If you are setting the U.S. standard Daylight Saving Time, this should be the month of November. | |
Press the [SW2:MINUTE/DAY] key until the desired end day is displayed. If you are setting the U.S. standard Daylight Saving Time, this should be the first Sunday of November in the year you are setting. | |
Verify that the desired end year, month, and day are displayed on the LCD. Then press the [SW1:SET] key. | |
Press the [SW1:SET] key again. The current time and date is displayed. |
Setting the Time Manually
Press the [SW5:SET] key one time. The Hour Minute arrow flashes. | |
Press the [SW3:HOUR/MONTH] key until the correct hour is displayed. The seconds are automatically reset to 00. | |
Press the [SW2:MINUTE/DAY] key until the desired minutes are displayed. | |
Verify that the desired time is displayed on the LCD. Then press the [SW1:SET] key. | |
Press the [SW1:SET] key again. |
Important: if you do not press the [SW1:SET] key a second time, the clock will not print.
