Raleigh, NC — On Wednesday, May 16, 2012, W. Glenn Robbins, President of Acroprint Time Recorder Company was presented with an Export Excellence Award from the International Trade Division at the North Carolina Department of Commerce. The award was given in recognition of Acroprint’s significant contributions to export activity in the state of North Carolina.
The award was presented by North Carolina Secretary of Commerce Keith Crisco at a luncheon held at the RDU Center at Raleigh Durham International Airport and hosted by the Research Triangle Regional Partnership. The event was held in conjunction with World Trade Week, a nationwide celebration recognizing the role exports play in creating jobs and growing the nation’s economy.
The North Carolina Department of Commerce’s International Trade Division promotes international sales by small businesses through the State Trade and Export Promotion (STEP) grant program. As part of the STEP program and the National Export Initiative, export excellence certificates were presented to North Carolina companies that are the export leaders in their industry.
