To ensure a successful QuickBooks export, make sure:
- The Company Filename has no special characters (letters, numbers and spaces only).
- Both programs are installed on the same PC.
- The QuickBooks program is opened by an Administrator level login.
- No work windows are open in QuickBooks.
- The pay types match.
- The employee names are the same in both systems.
- The alternate export ID is the same as the name from the QuickBooks Print on Checks as field (refer to screenshot below).
