If my ProxTime terminal needs to be further away from my PC, can I use a longer telephone cable?

Your primary ProxTime terminal must be within 50 feet of your PC. Do not attempt to replace the cable with a standard telephone cable due to the different wire pattern of the cable. The cable supplied has been specially designed to work with your ProxTime terminal.
