You must Enable Terminal Manager.

Begin by locating the Attendance Rx icon in the bottom right hand corner of your screen.

Right-click on the Attendance Rx icon.

Select Enable Terminal Manager from the menu that will pop up, and make sure the terminal device is connected to the PC.
